Wheeling Gull Isle because I'd go berserk?

eyes opened, on her feet. overcoming some of the first milestones and yet she did not yet have the abilities she desired. she could babble and blink and tumble and twiddle her toes and thumbs and lie around and sleep and eat and shit. but there was little in her brain beyond a dull, numbing static that continued all days and all nights without ceasing. when would her mind see beyond? 

today she awoke, blinking blue eyes towards haoming, who appeared to be awakening around the same time. she offered the girl a little babble greeting of hmm, quietly, sounding like a thoughtful teacher. but today she was just a staring baby.
