Dragoncrest Cliffs Comfort was the answer to all life’s problems

As she traveled she was mindful of the trees. As robust as she was Aniuk had grown tired during a long and uneventful hunt. A careful eye scrutinized the area from overhead, watching for some place to roost and grow warm.

When Aniuk decided on a spot she reached out to grasp a branch and somehow, with her expedience, missed the mark. A quick graceless flurry of wings brought her down to the earth where she landed directly in the snow. 

The woman's arms encircled her, while the black-tipped feathers surrounding her bodice had puffed and ruffled. A look of agitation as well as surprise marred her pale face.
