There was shrieky noise, and Lux lifted their muzzle from their prey, still silently giggling like an entire weirdo.
Then they stilled, staring, blue eyes wild, before their tangly limbs were a frenzy, gathering up to their feet and silently opening their jaws in a mute approximation of a bay. Friend!!
