she did not hear her name, but only a voice that would cause her head to sickeningly rips away from the ground in search of the location. foam sprays itself from the quick motion, embedding itself into her fur and the ground, and bits flick into the water itself. the body loses balance, stumbling in a forward direction it thinks is towards the source of the sound.

and a gut-wrenching growl leaves her mouth.

but as the scent of not just one but 2 others entertain her nostrils, evermore's body pushes itself into an aggressive and uncoordinated gallop towards the general direction of where the others remain, perhaps a few feet off from the exact spot. her body language, the sounds, the warped expression on her face -- evermore was never present.

she'd trip, tumbling into the ground and crying out in what the body perceived as pain. yet despite the fact that a sharp rock opens a small wound on her side that readily spills sickly blood, the body still runs forward, jaws flayed open and snarls echoing.
