@Crëyr right after burke encounter?
Shadow was agitated, angry and worried at the same time, why had Paarthurnax not contacted him yet. The pups were old enough to wander out of their dens now and he was sure they could meet their father now, so what in the name of Jupiter was keeping her away from telling him to come and visit. Did she have a change of mind? Thought he was better when he was away from his children? Or that Scimitar would prove to be a better father? Fucking hell. He couldn't trust anyone outside his pack anymore.
Keeping his face a stoic mask, the Roman made his way out of his cave den and towards the plains which dominated his territory. There, he would find the lake and he would be alone with his thoughts. Or not. The memories of Paarthurnax and himself flashed through his head, bodies colliding, fur mingling. He shook it quickly away, unwilling to dwell in the past.
He was nearing the lake and half of him hoped there was no one there, but the other half of him hoped for someone he could actually trust.
