The voices of the pack fade into silence. A wet nose hovers slightly above the ground. Grim sniffs for prey scent while thinking that perhaps he should have stayed at the gathering for the feast at least. Golden eyes narrow. There's no turning back to them. He will just have to find his own prey. The blood dusted male searches the area for any hint of food. Grim snarls when he can't find any fresh trails. No matter though. He takes off for one of his favorite spots in the woods. The field of blood flowers will calm his anger and irritation. Teeth glint in a small smile. A tongue wets thin lips. There's a possibility that the sight could also send him out seeking for a fight. Not that Grim wouldn't enjoy sinking his maw into someone's flesh.

After she had finished her quick tale, she calmly sat down to listen to the others share their stories. Ohen's, a mythical and mysterious lizard with capability killing plenty of living creatures. Twist's, a dark and interesting fable.
Then the party seemed to be heated up by (of coarse) Grimnir. He seemed to be threatening the little pale pup as he got ready to leave. The dark star was just about to stand up, but instead Bruke and what seemed to be her sibling took care of that.
When Meldresi stood to tell her story, the girls body relaxed and she closed her eyes. She only listened with her ears, not her eyes. To her, it was the best way to imagine a legend. She listened about the assassins, the moon, the stars. She felt a bit dumbfounded by the whole thing. She usually honored the moon and stars as great fallen ones. But Meldresi's tale made her doubt what she had learned. Was she lied to her whole childhood? Was any sort of light just demonic?

Last round. One last post from everyone and this can be archived. Thanks for this short, but fun, pack gathering. Stay tuned for a pack hunt soon! @Lusa @Twist @Ohen @Burke @Grimnir @Damien @Cicero
Meldresi sensed that this event was at an end. Their stories had been shared, and the mood had slightly been killed by Grimnir's aggression. The queen was adept in reading the atmosphere, and everything about it was telling her to end this now. She brought her head up, ready to speak to her pack again.
"The story-telling portion of this pack gathering is at an end. Feel free to eat what was brought by your packmates and speak with those gathered." With that, she ended the gathering. The priestess stepped down from her log, stepping over her daughter and leisurely walking towards Burke. She stepped past, him, her eyes on a squirrel that she picked at for a brief moment before speaking to the gray tank. "I hope I do not need to tell you to keep a very close on Grimnir, Burke." She said, a subtle murmur, before she picked up the rodent and began eating. Business was slow again, but she was fine with that. Her priorities were on the internal intrigues, now.

Burke towered over the youngsters like a father would. His charcoal body sat by then as their guard and mentor. The tank of a male watched how Meldresi approached him. A glint came into his pale eyes. She was so close that his nose practically brushed to her fur as she walked past. "I will instantly see to it," he returned with a court nod and a softer tone. He was already to confront Grimnir to his aggression towards Potema.
His grey body got to his feet. His nose giving Damien a playful push in the process, just to tease him. Burke grinned a bit and then grabbed his deer calf and dragged it to the three youngsters. Burke himself grabbed a rabbit and sat promptly next to Meldresi. He earned that spot after all.

Cicero still did not fully understand what had gone on between the wolves; he did not understand if the wolf that had growled at Potema would stay in the pack or be gone. However, soon Cicero was distracted by the telling of stories. Then, after several stories were told, the meeting came to an end. Cicero yawned drowsily, feeling tired suddenly, and he smacked his lips as he looked around.
Then the boy vanished into the shadows, taking the quickest route home where he would fall asleep, with or without siblings and mother alongside him, after a tiring meeting.

Potema was indignant and puffed up after the encounter with the snarling male. Even the story her mother told did nothing to calm the little princess, though in any other situation, she would be positively enraptured. The whole time, Potema sat with a pout on her face, thinking of all the ways she would get back at the tan wolf...lizard in his den, herbs in his food that makes him sick. Yeah...that's exactly what she would do.
When her mother declared the storytime to be over, Potema jumped down from her log soon after her mother, heading towards a hare. She tore off its legs, then ran to a corner, where she could eat in peace and dream of completely unnecessary revenge.

Ohen watched as the wolf that snapped at him turned and left, after growling at a pup. The ebony male watched as Burke, and a dark youngster stood to protect the pale female, however it seemed like she could handle herself. Once the rude male had left the pack gathering Ohen listened to Meldresi's story and couldn't help but be slightly intrested in her religion.
Once Meldresi said that the gathering was over and that they may stay or leave Ohen decided the best choice was to stay. He figured it would be a good time to greet with pack-mates, and besides there was free food. The ebony male stood and stripped of a piece of meat from the fox he brought, ready to fill his hungry stomach.
