Blackfoot Forest New beginnings

This forest Lacinia found herself in seem to suit her. While the sun was out the grounds below the trees remained very shady. It would get quite dark when the clouds cover the sun. It was easy to say that the days were much shorter here. For now the sun was shining over the clouds leaving enough light to allow being able to see clearly. She looked at the tree tops. The light passing through made it seem like the forest was enchanted. Might be a good place to pass the time.

Moving along she wondered if she could find wolves that would assist in the path of freedom. She felt that if more wolves followed her the more she could do as she pleases. All together they would have true freedom. First things first though it's seeking out wolves. Even if she knows what she wants now she still wasn't sure how to really talk to other wolves. She just has to try and learn. in the end it will be worth it, that she was sure of.

Wynter was taking a stroll through a first full with tall trees and limited light. She was enjoying her freedom while it lasted. It wouldn't be long before she was expected to be back with Luke and Mordechai for the official pack claim. Yes she was helping found yet another pack. Instead of running one of her own. Perhaps in the long run this was best. 

Suddenly something caught in Wynter's eye. A shadow of what she assumed to be another wolf. Was there anot her pack here? She didn't recall picking up scent borders but then again her mind was all over the place. She held her nose high in the sky. The scent was familiar and immediately Wynter relaxed. Itwas Lacinia. Wynter had been left wondering if she would ever see the dark coated fae again and here she was. 

Wynter trotted over with a friendly smile. " Hey, long time no see, " she said tail twitching calmly behind her. It had been a while since the amber girl had come across a familiar face so she was happy to have run into someone she knew for once.

The forest was cold and dark after her foray into the summer sun, dappled sunlight falling across her alpine snow coat and sending soft warmth into her body. These woods were beautiful but there was a chill in the air that had nothing to do with temperature. But as she wandered, she picked up the scents of other wolves, two females if her nose was correct.

She happened upon them moments later, an amber wolf and a fae of pitch black fur. They were friendly towards one another, perhaps former acquaintances  and as loathe as she was to interrupt a reunion, she was looking wolves to hang with.

"Hey, name's Sonder."

Lacinia cought whiff of a familier scent. It was Wynter. She couldn't help but grin. Honestly she expected her to stay at around Redtail Rise, seeing Wynter again was a total surprise. Now the question was why was she here? Before she could figure out what might be going on another scent of a wolf appeared. At first she thought Wynter wasn't actually alone. But then the scents didn't really mix, meaning they weren't traveling together.

"It's a surprise seeing you here. Does that mean you've choosen the path of freedom?" She asked before the other female came in to introduce herself. Sonder? Her white coat reminded Lacinia of Scarlett which then reminded of Kove. Now she couldn't help but wonder how they have been doing since she last saw them. It's been months. Kove better not have taken any sort of advantages over someone or Lacinia will have to deal with him again.

Once she was done with her memories she decided to introduce herself. "I'm.. Aklaq, pleasure to meet you Sonder." Lacinia hesitated a bit, she did want to say her real name but more wolves knew her as Aklaq. If she remembers correctly, only one wolf knows her real name. 

"And this is Wynter, A friend that I know we can trust." She said as she looked at Wynter. Lacinia was still surprised to see her here. She still wondered what the story was.

Sonder nodded to the two wolves, a small nudge of the head while she listened to the conversation between the two she-wolves. There was an element she didn't understand here, a dynamic that had shifted with the introduction of Wynter and Sonder wondering what old history had arisen from the two's meeting. And Aklaq, she was eyeing with a strange look, like she'd seen a ghost or something that had triggered a memory.

And Sonder was pretty sure she'd never met either fae before.

"It is a pleasure to meet you. And you, Wynter, of coure. It's not often I meet wolves while traveling through these woods."

kinda didn't want to go inactive again xP. If Wynter goes inactive we'll have to say she needed to do something and couldn't stay. Don't make us wait too long Wynter! :P 

Turning her interest towards Sonders who claims to not meet wolves too often here. "Perhaps it's destiny." She said in a ghostly tone, then giggled bit. Lacinia would easily believe that it was destiny. Which lead to asking a question to see the reason why they would meet.

"What do you think of freedom Sonders? What is it to you and how do you get it?" She asked in a confident voice meaning that Lacinia had an answer to it already. She eyed both wolves and wondered if maybe they would join her in the path of freedom.
