Floki glared at Atreyu, but did not say anything. Instead, he just nodded as Charon continued to speak, explaining that they wanted to claim a mountain and that Amekaze's wolves would be good additions to their group. When the conversation shifted to Thistle Cloud, the boy's ears fell slightly. He wasn't trying to disobey his mother or go against her wishes, but he wasn't as close to her as he once was. He spent most of his time with Charon.
