Kendra instantly went to search out Nemesis after she talked with Malice. She needed to know a few things and it was most definitely sure that Nemesis could tell her. She was a girl, and her father was a male so maybe it was different. She tracked down the Beta of the pack. When she found the dark female it turned out that she was not alone! "Nemesis!!," she called out urgently and then skidded to a stop. At least there was more life inside her now than there was before. "Hi Xan!"

"I need to know something! I saw Malice today and she told me that she was pregnant which means she has puppies but you make the puppies with the sex right? And!!!! And, we pray to the night mother who is the goddess of lies, sex and murder. I know about lies and murder but not about the sex! What is the sex? I want to know! Why didn't anyone explain it yet?," she questioned, almost a bit offended. She wanted to be knowledgable about all that was their pack and they had kept something from here. She was really keen on learning so this was something major for her.

She had started to see a change in Xan. It had only been a few months since he had declared he cared for no-one and nothing at all, which obviously, she had no believed. But something had changed inside him. It was like he had reason to open up, that he was finally seeing the light or whatever. She had a speculation to what had caused him to act differently, but she kept her mouth shut. Such notions were bound to reveal themselves if they were true, she just hoped the boy made a move already. It was good for him to have someone in his life, and that wolf, whoever it may be, would bring out the best in him like Kove did to her. Blackfeather was messed up in so many ways but there always seemed to be a silverlining. She just hoped there was one to the Malice ordeal, that her mental frustration would soon come to a cease. And soon. But her interactions were soon halted when Kendra called out for her, no doubtibly the most lively she had been since Peitro's death. She was suprised to say the least, but she recovered quick enough to take in what she was saying. Well, this was new. Burke hadn't... well, probabaly not. That would have been Meldresi's job. It fell to her now, it was her job infact. She looked to Xan, unsure if he wanted to stick around for "the talk", but she also considered maybe he did not know either. Either way, it was good for both of them to hear it before they were old enough to do the.. things. "Well, it may have been uncomfortable for him to talk about. Meldresi would have told you this,"

She would not gloss over the facts, it was best to be blunt in these situations, as she was sure Kendra would appreciate. However, she was not happy when Kendra spoke of seeing Malice. That woman knew no bounds. Even though Kendra was not her daughter, their relationship might as well be. She did not want Kendra to be influenced by Malice, or did she like the idea of them hanging around together. Somewhere, it made her uncomfortable and overall annoyed but she stayed silent. It was not the time to think about that while Kendra had a very serious topic to question about. "Well, it all starts when a female goes into heat. During that time she get's an alluring smell that draws males to her. This means she is able to produce puppies, if she has sex during heat. If she is not in heat, she cannot have puppies," Nemesis had gone into heat before, but thankfully no males had been around to do stuff. Only Burke had been but that didn't count. 

"Normally, sex happens when two wolves feel strongly for each other. Wether they love each other or not. But it is very important that it is made clear the wolf wants to have sex, and that they are okay with it," She did not believe the two would have any problems understanding that, but it was important to understand. When in heat, things were unpredicable and anything could happen. Not in DB, it wouldn't but out there.. anything. "During sex, the male's penis enters the female and they get stuck like that for a litte while, and that's when puppies are produced," She was blunt about it. There was no point going around the details if it was valid question. The more you know, the better.

"Any questions?"

The change happening within him had gone unnoticed—for the most part, anyways. Xan had never been the type to open up, he didn't quite understand most emotions in the sense that he'd had either no or little experience with them. So when he'd started to feel his wall falling down, the feeling was especially strange to him, but he'd thought little of it. His life had continued on, each day passing him by with different tasks presenting themselves. That day in particular he'd gone off in search of Nemesis, seeking out a lesson from her so that he might take another step closer to earning his own mark of the Brotherhood. There was a long ways for him to go, of course, but he was determined and didn't have much else to do anyways. When he'd reached the dark woman, though, he'd not been able to get even a single word in before Kendra had come running at them. She'd seemed... excitable? He wasn't quite sure what word could be used to accurately described how she was acting, but he knew it to be a good thing. No longer was she huddled up down in the darkness of the tunnels, but was instead embracing life again. At that, he could smile, but the expression was replaced quickly by one of confusion.

Kendra came in talking about the sex and what it was, resulting in the boy's brows having knitted together. He'd never considered asking such questions, figuring the information would just like... appear in his head when the time was right. Yet, apparently there was a chance for him to learn about everything before then, so he did not leave, but stayed there and looked to Nemesis with a questioning look in his gaze. The topic was neither skirted nor changed entirely, but confronted directly. The first bit about a female going into heat pulled from the back of his mind a memory, of a time in which he'd been lured to Venus by some unknown forces. "So this heat... it isn't magic or anything?" he'd blurted out, recalling his original belief. The woman had called to him in silence, beckoning him to her side, but had never explained why. She'd left him to think that it was indeed some sort of witchcraft, that upon him she'd placed a hex. It was a lie, and one that had made a fool out of him. At that, he found himself growing annoyed, but also relieved for no longer did the female reside within his home. Come to think of it, that was probably why the other male had also sought her out, and had challenged him for her attention. To Xan, it was a weird occurrence, and he wondered a number of things. "What makes someone go into heat?" the Inuit asked, taking the opportunity to learn all that he could. Honestly, he could have asked his father a while ago, but the topic had never been brought up. Now, however, it had already been presented by someone else, giving him ample time to get out every single query he held for Nemesis to answer.

There came an explanation then of how the sex worked, inspiring a whole new set of questions to form within the male's mind. "Where does it enter at? Why does it get stuck? Does it hurt when it's stuck in there?" He threw a glance to Kendra, but was quick to return his full attention to their personal sex ed. teacher. "What if you have to pee while stuck? Is it okay to like... pee inside of them?" That didn't seem quite right, but how would he know? Maybe it was totally normal—or even apart of the process! "Will something bad happen if you miss? Or, uh, fall over?" Xan wasn't yet sure how he felt about the sex. He definitely needed more details before making a conclusion about his feelings towards it. Maybe he could even try it out! Yeah, that could work. Then he'd know for sure if it was worth his time or not. First, though, he needed all of his questions answered. He needed to be prepared.

Kendra's questions were answered, and that without mumbling or hesitation. There. This was something she could use. With quite some interest she listened to what Nemesis had to say. She had a lot of questions because she might have explained when the sex happened but not really how. She had a lot of questions now she realized. Xan seemed to have quite a few too, so once the male was done giving all of his questions Kendra fired hers too. "Where does this penis thing get stuck? In my fur? What is the penis thing exactly?," she wondered. She knew that Pietro had looked different from her but she never got the name for it.

The girl was most definitely be interested. So if she was not in this heat thing, then she could just have all the sex and not have babies. She liked that idea. She did not want to be a mother yet. Kendra did not know she had to be a certain age for her heat to come knocking on her door. The young female was kind of curious to try it now. Mephala was the goddess of it. So to pay her respect she might needed to do a lot of this sex? But then again with who should she do that, it was clearly something you did together. Kendra looked to the side at Xan, though he was just her friend maybe they could practice it together or something. They had a strong friendship in her eyes....

There had been no pause for silence before a very varied series of questions from the duo was shot at her. Some of which, made her deeply concerned (and quite frightened) for their exactly knowledge of the subject. Those men had not taught their children anything, had they? She mentally sighed, what did she expect. Males seemed to be more akward about the talk, but she couldn't fathom why. It was useful and mandatory information that needed to be passed on. Otherwise, one might try what Xan suggested and end up in an undersired situation. However, she did not laugh at his attmepts at understanding "the magic". How was he to know otherwise, and she was glad they started to ask questions. Instead, she tenderly shook her head to his first suggestion. "No, magic has nothing to do with it. It's just a females body doing it's thing," Well, as far as she was concerned a higher power did not dabble in the affects of heat. Although it might seem like it. She wondered why Xan would ask a such a thing, as if he had experianced it first hand. Oh, hell no. No female in this pack was good enough for her step son, besides Kendra though she knew the girl couldn't have possibly gone into heat yet. Deciding not to fret on it, she pushed the thought a way and redirected her answers back to Xan.

"It enters at a hole.. by the backside. It'll all come naturally when you do it, don't worry," She wasn't sure how else to describe it. She couldn't very well go show her's as an example.. that would be very weird and possibly mentally scarring for the youngsters. "It may hurt, if it is the first time," She wasn't sure how to approach the next question. It was mainly for Xan, how the male anatomy worked, but even she did not know all it's technical functions. "Well, as far as I know during sex the penis emits a.. fluid thing, and that's what makes the puppies. I'm not exactly sure why it must get stuck, but it does for not very long. You must ask your father more about this, he will know," It was probabaly best Kove took the regins on that one. She could only say so much as she knew, and Kove probabaly knew more about the male body parts than she did. However, his next query had her questioning to. "I guess if you need to pee, you don't. It would be very unpleasant for both partners if you managed to urinate in them, not to mention the undesired situation and awkard explaining you would have to do afterwards. That would probably be the last time you get some, so best hold off for as long as you can," That would be a tricky situation, if something that troubling did occur. She hoped that for his and his future partner's sake he took her advice and did not decide to urinate during a pleasurable time. "If you miss, you try again. And if you fall over.. you get up quickly and apologize dearly," She did not think these things would be likely to happen, but she would answer as best she could. If Kove somehow fell over, or heaven forbit peed inside her... they were going to have a problem. 

Next, she directed her answeres to the dark haired girl. It was easier to answer to her instead of Xan because well.. they had the same parts. "It will definatly not get stuck in your fur. The penis is like a.. stick, but not a stick. Without a penis to do it's job, you could not have puppies. It is what seperates a boy from a girl, because girls are not born with penises," Well, as far as she knew. No doubt the girl had realised that her and Peitro were not the same gender, and this was what seperated them. Now there was the matter of actually performing the sex. She did not wish to be the prude, but Kendra was too young for it in her eyes. Xan, well, he was a man now so that was different. Only, she did not wish to become a step-grandmother any time soon, and seriously wished Kove would talk to his son before he started humping every female in heat just because now he knew how it worked. The thought made her shudder.

There came the ultimate confirmation: the heat was in no way, shape, or form related to magic. It was simply the workings of the body, and nothing more. The woman had not put a hex on him, then, but sure as hell hadn't done anything to make him think otherwise. She'd left him to believe that it was magic, that he'd had to serve her in order to earn back control over his own body, but never had that been the case. Always had he been free, and he felt foolish for having thought otherwise. If ever he were to see that female again, he would make her pay for having tricked him, and ensure she never got away with doing so ever again. It did make him wonder, though, if he'd experience the same sort of feeling every time a female went into heat. Would he always be drawn to them? What would they do after seeing him? Such questions were ones that he did not ask aloud, deciding to find the answers to them out by himself later on. All he needed to do was wait for someone to go into heat, and then test some things out so that he might then know for sure exactly what the feeling was, and perhaps even find a way around it. It had to be possible.

Nemesis went on to answer the rest of his questions, and he'd listened closely to each and every word that was spoken. The information would prove useful, and so he was disinterested in missing out on any pieces of it. The part about a hole was especially enticing, making his head tilt slightly and his brows knit together. If everything was supposed to come naturally to him when doing it, did that mean he'd automatically know exactly what to do? Again, he did not voice his query, choosing once more to experiment as time progressed. Xan did nod, however, when told to ask his father more about it, deciding that doing so would make sense. If sex was the cause of puppies, then his dad would have to know something about it. It was a wonder he'd never asked before, though if he would have done so, he knew not currently if ever would he have received any explicit answers. The boy wanted as many details about sex as could be provided for him, thus bringing him to consider asking other adults about it later on. Several perspectives would offer far more insight than just one, after all. "Sounds like a lot of apologizing is involved if you don't get it right on your first try," he'd noted with a frown, having never been the type to favour speaking such words. Never could he think of a time in which he'd truly been at fault, and though cocky by nature, he couldn't yet tell for sure if having sex would be something he'd excel at. Well, at least not on his first try. "Can you become a master at sex?" he'd asked, his train of thought seeming to possess a direct link to his mouth. If one could, then he'd be the one to do it, for sure.

As the answers to his questions were wrapped up, the attention was given back to Kendra. Her questions also interested him, and so he'd listened to the answers they'd received just as attentively as he had his own. At the mention of the penis, however, he'd felt the need to chime in. "This is exactly what a penis is," he'd stated, right before raising one of his hind legs. Xan felt no shame in showing off, nor did he see an issue with doing so. If all males had one, then it was acceptable to show it off, right? Right. He'd been forced to lower his leg several times in order to regain his balance, but was always quick to pull it right back up. It was around the second time that he'd then went on to ask, "So this is where the babies actually come from, then?" Thereafter, he'd lowered his leg back down for good, having grown tired of keeping it up. But of course, if asked to do so, Alexander had no problem with showing himself off again.

Kendra listened with interest once more. So if a male would have sex with her it would all go naturally but what if it didn't? What if she wanted to try if before she was in heat? Would it go natural then too? Kendra was super curious. Especially now it seemed the first try would be a bit of a mess. The girl glanced at Nemesis and then to Xan.

Her eye turned to him when he showed off his penis. She eyed at it and tipped her head a bit. "Pietro has one like that! And Dad too!," she spoke. Now it was logical to her that her father had one, because well, her mother had clearly carried her in her belly too. That was such a strange thought. "I came out of a belly!!! So weird! Why can't I remember it?," she asked to Nemesis.

Her face scrunched up when Xan asked if he could be a master of sex. The girl let out a giggle. "If you practice enough I think you will," she commented to him. After all it was with most things that if you had a lot of practice you would get better at it. She giggled at the ideas of it and the things that could happen.

Kendra then thoughts of the males that she met. And well there was Xan and Whittier... But... Xan was her friend and friends didn't do that right? Or did they? And maybe she could try it with Whittier. She was just so curious.

She had been satisfied with the information she had given them, and she had believed they were too content with the information provided. So it was extreemly abrupt when Xan then proceeded to hike up his leg and siplay his gentials for all the world to see. Nemesis instantly snapped her eyes shut, blank faced, and kept herself like that for a good few seconds. "XAN! You can't just--," She sighed, reopening her eyes once she heard him restand on all four legs. "Though I admire your confidence, you can't simply show yourself off whenever you feel like it. It's rude and a bit disturbing to those who don't want to see it," It was rather concerning the boy did not know this already. What had Kove been doing this whole time? "I think you can become good at it.. but I don't think there is such a thing as a master of sex," Well, at least to her knowledge that was the case. Maybe they could ask Potema. If there was such a thing as a sex master, then it had to be linked to their religion. Afterall, Mephala was the godess of sex and Potema seemed the most knowledgeable on that topic of the Night Mother.

Next, she turned to Kendra. The girl had valid questions. "You were much to young to have a memory of that. Burke may know what happened, you should ask him," She did not know if Burke was there to witness their birth, but he was most likely the one with all the knowledge of that. It reminded her of Pietro, and a soft pain made it's way into her heart. He had not even had a chance at learning this stuff, nevermind finding someone he loved to do so. But she pushed those thoughts away. It wasn't the time to mourn now.

"Any more questions?"

Kendra was quite impressed by it all. The girl thought about asking her father about it, but he might not like to be reminded of mother. Kendra looked at Xan and what he displayed. She was not very impressed. It was just some bulge with more fur. She did not think much of it at all. Nemesis seemed to be a bit offended though. Kendra was not.

The girl shook her head when Nemesis asked if she had more questions. Not for now at least. Maybe later she would think of something but now most had been answered. She wondered if Xan would practice with her, then maybe their first times could be bad together and not with that other wolf. Would she have another boy? She did not want to lose another close one. Maybe it was better to keep Xan as just a friend.

"Thank you, Nemesis!! " She let out and then looked curious at Xan wondering if he had some more to ask. She would gladly listen.
