@Phiipa I hope this is ok! let me know if you need the location changed or anything :)
He had not seen Artemis in a few days. Had she grown sick of him? Had she died and abandoned him like his father and mother? Or had the Mountian wolves got her, and eaten her whole like they did to his mother and brother? He wandered the woods, yipping longingly for his odd companion. "Artie!" When his call recieved no answer, he screamed louder. Even still, nothing. Maybe she had gone without him. He sighed, sitting down against the dirt of the forest floor. What had he expected? Everyone either died, went missing or got eaten. Artemis the Coyote was no exception. There went one chapter in the messed up life of Stoic Silvertip.

He wandered along, eventually reaching a wide bed of water unlike he had seen before. Without adult supervision, this was bound to get interesting. He ran to the water's edge, dipping his paw in tenderly before crashing his entire body into the chilly lagoon below. He had never swam before, not properly. Zaria had only taken them to the water once before her demise and that was that. This time, he wouldn't drown. His smal paws kicked beneath him, trying to propell himself forward but with hardly much sucess.

From afar, one would see a tiny head bobbing up and down desperatly in circles, in the shallow edges of the water. A curious sight indeed.

Nope it's perfect!

Slowly Phiipa was growing impatient. Yes being impatient was not a very lady like thing, yet she was done waiting by the border. Silver Creek was the right pack for her she was sure, but being stranded alone waiting for the final decision was bothersome. So she took the day to explore a bit, enjoying this huge lake. She stopped to lap at the water, watching with curiosity as it ripple and sent rings out over the surface. Water had always intrigued her, it seemed like one big collective thing yet separated easier than flesh from bone.

When the young golden beauty lifted her head, she noticed a head. A small head, but definitely a head. It had tiny ears and was bobbing up and down. Intrigued, Phiipa crept towards it and peered through the reeds around it. What she saw surprised her. A pup? She emerged from the reeds but kept her distance, she didn't want to scare the kid. Are you lost little one? She asked, wondering where his parents were. Surely no one left him all alone. She held a kind gaze on him, not intimidating in the least.

He made his way to the shore, quickly realising that swimming was not as much fun as he had previously imagined. "Stupid water," He mummbled as he shook himself dry, this wet feet sinking into the dirt of the shore. He would neber do that again, he quickly decided. Only a second after did a voice startle him from behind. He whipped around to face a woman, peering through the tall reeds. Odd. He did not know how to react. And what was it with these strange wolves talking to him like he had parents that were looking for him? Instantly, he did not like this female.

His brow furrowed, a clear judgment and disgust prominent on his facial features. "No," He deadpanned, looking quite un-amused. Stoic was no idiot. Stoic did not simply get lost. The fact that the female even had to ask felt like an insult to his intelligence. And with that, he turned on his heels and stomped away in the opposite direction. Whether or not the female followed him was not his concern. He was hungry, and Artemis (the deemed food bringer) was no where to be found.

Phiipa could tell that something she'd said had hurt his feelings. He wasn't lost, but he had no parents around. She didn't want to leave him alone, but didn't want to patronize him. She followed him, deciding that since he clearly didn't want to be talked to like a kid, she would try a different approach. She got close enough, walking alongside him. Well are you going somewhere important? Could I come with you? She asked, he either was convincing at looking determined or he really had somewhere to go. She stayed close to him, but didn't look down at him. She hoped he would say yes, the boy was interesting and she wanted to help him whether he wanted her help or not. Or at least she had to know more.

He scowled as the female's voice echoed from behind him, not long after, catching up to his pace. He wasn't going anywhere, he was searching for something. Something that would fill his belly. "No," He replied, not extending his answer to small talk. He was a boy, what else could be expected? But when she inquires a second time, he shrugs, his eyes trained on the path ahead of him. He didn't care if the woman followed him, and he doesn't care if she hunts with him. While he had always been very suspicious and wary of strangers, this one seemed relatively harmless and all around good natured. Besides, he could always run if trouble arose.

His small nose has trouble catching a scent, for his senses are not completely developed. But he his hunger has grown, and he knows he will not see Artemis again. "Can you hunt?" He turned to the female, still expressionless though his inquiry is rather important. Stoic knows he cannot do this by himself, and he would only look like a fool to try.

The boy didn't seem very talkative, or polite at that. Phiipa frowned at his simple answer. No. That didn't clarify much. But she continued to follow him. She didn't say anything for the time being. She just followed him along, until finally he turned and spoke. Can you hunt? Of course she could hunt! She nodded, looking down at him blankly. If he didn't show emotion neither would she. Clearly the pup wasn't old enough to hunt on his own, so maybe she could do something for him after all. What, you want me to hunt for you?

Her tone was questioning. If she was going to do anything for him, she could at least have a please or thank you. He had to have some manners locked away in his little brain.
