All Welcome
Takes place a day after this, preferably for a Lone Wolf.

It was evening now as she travelled to the King Elk.  Snow still whisked through her pelt as she wandered through the wood.  Snow crunched crisply underneath her paws as she walked through the cold forest.  The blizzard had begun to die down now as nightfall came and while she was unsure if this would be the case, she hoped it would die down at least by sometime tomorrow.

A sharp prick to her paw caused her to yelp and jump back a space.  She lifted her paw to see a small trickle of blood oozing slowly from her pad.  Her eyes quickly scoured her paw, eventually landing on the source, a thorn.  Careful she then leaned her head down, fastened the thorn between her teeth and pulled.  It came out with a fresh flow of blood and Spring winced slightly at the sight.  Really it was nothing though, nothing but a prick.  She then proceeded to lick her pad, which helped a ton.

Her eyes then lifted falling on the forest surrounding her.

He led him through the land, settling no where, constantly moving through the thick snow and freezing cold. Movements was the only thing that would keep them alive, keep their blood running through their bodies.

His fangs frequented @Mazatl 's often, drawing from him briefly. He tried to recompense with food, but as the chill took its hold, it was harder and harder to do so. He could not do this do frequently, especially not now. He left the boy in the intensifying blizzard hoping that he would quickly find something in the woods for the both of them.

It came in the form of a woman, whose painful yelp caught his attention. Athansius stalked towards her, eyes widening with interest at the blood drops before her paw. The strigoi licked his lips, striding forward now without a moment's pause. Her glance upwards did little to stop him, only inciting him to pounce forward at her, intent on clasping any part of her body in his jaws and dragging her down.
WARNING! this boy thinks hes a vampire. regardless of the validity of this, he does get a weird kick out of biting wolves and drinking their blood and just blood in general... He considers most wolves his potential prey, and is liable to attack at random if he believes he can take down a wolf.

Minor PP, Pm me if anything needs to be changed.

A silver pelted male came from the shadows and something about him made her feel uneasy.  Perhaps it was how he made his way towards her, or that interested look in his eyes.  Something just felt rather off...  It didn't take all to long for the wrongness to begin.

Fear coarsed through her.

He pounced at her now, seeming to be attacking her.  They didn't even know each other for crying out loud.  What was going on.  Still she couldn't let him get her, she couldn't!  If something really had happened when she and Heston had been together... well she couldn't let the loner take it from her now.

She turned desperately trying to escape, but felt his jaws catch her tail.  This couldn't be happening.  This couldn't be real!  What was going on.  She howled urgently for her pack mates @Heston, @Rowan Mayfair, @Natashe, @Mawk, @Novak and Casmir.  fear alit in her gaze for a moment longer, but still she couldn't go down this easily, she couldn't let fear rule her.  Until anyone else could get here, she would have to defend herself, so she turned her jaws snapping at the male, aiming for any flesh she could get.  She wouldn't go down without a fight.  She wouldn't let him take her potential young from her.

Novak's ears lifted at the urgent cry from his Alpha, fear shot through his body and in an instant he went from not moving at all to a rapid dash, within an instant he was there witnessing Spring being attacked by a stranger. His eyes grew from his usual questionable glint to complete wrath, he growled deep within his throat, baring his teeth, before leaping forward in attempt to knock the wolf onto the ground. He snapped for his neck best her could, but any piece of flesh would be good enough. He wanted this attacker gone, and would do anything it took to do so.

He barked while doing so, his usual kind and gentle demeanor was thrown completely out the window, for Novak was a trained warrior his whole life, and in any sense of danger could pull it out from under his sleave. His body was bulkier than his opponent, but that meant nothing in combat, it all depended how skilled the moonlit pelted wolf was/

Natashe was resting peacefully when Spring's panicked cry alerted her to the situation. She was on her paws in an instant, running like mad in the direction of her sister's shout. Arriving on the scene and seeing Spring on the ground and Novak wrestling a male, she snarled savagely as all sense of calm left her. She ran to Spring to check on her and saw that her tail was missing some fur and was bleeding slightly " you'll be alright" she murmured and turned to aid Novak.

Running forward she slammed her shoulder into the silver pelted male, hoping to knock him over and allow Novak to get a better hold on the attacker. Her jaws snapped shut multiple times as she tried to get hold on any flesh that could hurt this vile brute.

From the moment the woman howled he knew that this would fail. She commanded the authority of many, summoning them to her aid. His fangs relinquished her tail at that point — not even tasting blood, how disappointing — only to feel his own blood spurt from his cheek. His prey had retaliated.

He wanted to, so desperately, hurt the woman, but the appearance of another, and then another, drove him away. He would not, could not, fight so many others. They lunged for him; the male snapping at his neck, painting his shoulder red, the woman trying to knock him over and almost succeeding. He did little to fight back, running off as quickly as he could to his băiat and getting them away, away from the wolves he had provoked.

Blood oozed from her tail were the male had got her, but she had met a mark and as she bit into his cheek, tasting his own blood, a feeling of satisfactory swam through her.

Then there was Novak who attacked the male, summoned by her call, then Nat shortly after.  Nat's words went through one ears and out the other though.  It wasn't that she didn't care, it was just that so much was going on right now that it was kind of hard to focus on Nat's words.  For a moment long she lay stunned, but then pulled herself to her paws and let out a savage snarl, snapping threatenly at her attacker who was now turning tail and running from them.  She watched him go, eyes glaring defianlty, watching him until he was gone.

Then only when she could see him no longer, did she turned her head to exaim how bad he'd hurt her.  A couple clumps of fur were missing from her tail and a couple streaks of blood had begun to cake on her fur... although some still oozed.  She gave a small shudder at the pain emitting from the spot where the stranger had bitten her, but did her best to hide it.  She would deal with the wound later, first she wanted to make sure her subordinates were alright.

"Novak, Nat.  Were either of you injured?"  She asked them both, concern for them alit in her gaze.  "Thank you for both coming to my aid," she then continued, "it was most strange, I didn't even know him, he didn't know me... yet still he just attacked me at first sight."

Mawk was slightly late to the scene, but his eyes widened as he looked around, and he sniffed the ground. Once he smelt the strangers tracks, a growl escaped his jaws. "That ain't no ord'nary wolf."

His eyes narrowed but he looked back at Spring. "I seen them before. They eat the flesh off other wolves - drink their blood, an' all."He murmered, already glad that the stranger had gone. He'd met one similar before, though it had been attacking another wolf when he arrived.

He only could tell the wolf's scent apart from others because it carried a flicker of fear mixed in with the wolf's own scent.

Novak continued barking as the stranger until he was completely out of sight, and he slowly began to relax, he looked at the wolves around him, not even noticing Natashe's aid in the fight, nor Mawk, the strange accented wolf-dog's arrival. He still stood rather strong, not a bite or scratch on him, another scarless fight to add to the many others. He glanced at Natahse, remembering they're spur of the moment the last time they saw each other and nodding, giving a small smile before returning to look at Spring. "I'm unhurt," he quickly made it to her side and glanced at her wounds, "Do we have a medic in the pack?" A trained caregiver was always best, but Novak held some knowledge of medicine and would gladly be a last resort if needed.

Natashe let out a couple more snarls of warning as the savage ran off, tail tucked like a coward. She heard Spring and Mawk's words and turned around, fur still bristling. " I'm unhurt" she responded her voice still showing her aggravation as she then turned her attention toward Mawk "you mean like empusi?" she asked, using the Greek mythological term for a vampiric creature that ate their own kind.

She gave a glance to Novak catching his smile and nodded before turning back to Spring "I think Rowan knows some medicine" she responded to Novak's question " someone should get moss or something to soak the bleeding and stop it" she suggested, using the onot thing she knew to do.

Mawk arrived once the stranger had gone, saying he was pretty sure it eat flesh from it's own kind and drank blood.  She almost shivered at the thought.  If what Mawk was saying was true, was that what the male had been trying to do to her?  Still she was a little bit skeptical, still unsure of why everything had rolled out like it did.  Novak was then quick to ask if there was a medic in there pack, which  Spring was, but before she could say anything Nat threw in her input saying that she thought Rowan had that skill and along with that that someone should get moss to stop the bleeding.

She shook her head.  "I'll be fine," she remarked, despite the painful pang from her mangled tail, "I am a medic too though Nat, so I can treat myself."  For a brief moment she paused with a thought.  "Nat's right though, Mawk, would you mind grabbing me some moss or cobwebs?  Either will work."  She commanded him, then turned her head to exaim once more what damage had been done by the loners powerful jaws.

crap! Post order mishap! You can delete this!
Natashe dipped her head awkwardly "still learning so much about you Sœur" she said proudly as she looked at Novak with an interested expression. He had fought valiantly for her sister, though she knew everyone in the pack would do the same as spring was their Alpha. She walked over to him and looked him in the eyes, offering him a warm smile "thank you." She said even though there was no need for it.

Spring's howl sent had sent a shiver of fear down his spine. He'd spun and raced for her as fast as he could, but he was not the first to arrive. He saw a group of wolves crowded around her, only recognizing Natashe as a face he'd met before. He charged up to the group, his hackles standing and his tail unconsciously flying high in dominant position. It was a fear response more than anything, but it didn't stop him from rushing right up to Spring's side, nearly standing over her.

"What the fuck happened?" He boomed, his eye swinging among the wolves he didn't know. They smelled of Silver Creek, but he'd been down that road before. He did not snarl, or growl, but his stance was protective over Spring, though needlessly so. He took a moment to take in the others around him, his heart still thudding painfully in his chest. Spring's tail was bleeding, but the other's seemed relax and Natashe wore the traces of a smile. Perhaps he should ask questions before shouting obscenities at everyone.

"Spring?" He was unwilling to back down until he knew for sure that things were alright. He'd been hurt by a friend before, had his life ripped away. Panic flashed steadily in his chest and he fought to control the waves, reminding himself that this wasn't the same. He held his body rigid, her cry had triggered some form of PTSD in him, and he was unable to shake the memories even as the body language around him told him to ease up. He'd need to hear her voice to calm down.
