Victory!  Maybe.  Nah, just for a few moments.  Suddenly he was being assaulted! HOW DARE SHE! HOOOOW DAAAAAAAAARE SHEEEEE!  Though he quickly lost track of the ear, his target was still in front of him, as his paw quickly discovered.  The paw disappeared into the wet and gross unknown.  

Flailing wildly with a squeak that could wake... Well, maybe a parent... He tried, likely unsuccessfully to retrieve his paw, but considering his limbs spent the majority of their time just stuck out in front like a stuffed animal, he didn't have the greatest flexibility.  Instead he wriggled more and then totally tried to bite her.  And by bite her, that actually means slobbered over her face with his tiny tongue before getting frustrated and weakly slamming his muzzle into the top of her head a few times like some sort of deranged woodpecker, screeching at maximum pup volume the whole time.
