She grinned at Ceara's words, appreciating the praise even if she wasn't entirely sure she agreed with it. She certainly hadn't felt like a champion at the time. More like some sort of grotesque and terrifying Stephen King feature. But she knew the words had come from a place of love and respect, and she accepted them with a swish of her tail. Her friend inquired after the rest, and Raven replied, "They're doing well, considering. Better than I expected. Except little Kite..." Her brow furrowed in an expression of troubled concern as she considered the girl's shakes. "She's so jittery and unstable. And small." She didn't understand what was going on with the snow-white baby's tiny body, but she could barely keep her head stable enough to stay latched-on while nursing. It worried her.

She looked back to Ceara and again, a small smile ghosted on her face as her attention shifted more toward her packmate. "I've been so busy I haven't had much time for you. How've you been doing?"
