All Welcome
It was like walking in paradise. She kept far enough from the cliffs that she didn't feel in danger, but always stayed within sight of the sea, looking over at it in awe more often than not (and tripping over her paws in the process). Along the way, she had found some suitable places for the Sanctuary to relocate--but nothing was perfect, exactly, and she still hadn't found Dirge.

So the search continued.

Lily came to a rest today on a beautiful white sand beach, jutting out into the sea. In the distance, she saw something that could be an island, a single peak reaching into the sky. She sat, head tilted, looking at it for a while--was there a way to get there? She didn't know for sure, and she certainly wasn't a strong enough swimmer to test her luck.

It was a breezy, cold, cloudy day, and the gulls were out and loudly calling. It was so different than Broken Boulder, and she relished the newness of it all, the feeling of adventure. Even if she didn't find exactly what she was looking for, the trip had already done her mind good. She only wished that Eris could be here to see it, too.
