She had seen the bear charging toward them and time slowed. She saw Rueger rushing forward but her only thought was Rannoch. Anger surged through her body and she lunged as the bear approached, attaching herself to it's shoulder. The bear swerved and swatted her clumsily off, her shoulder getting slammed. With a Yelp she dropped to the ground awkwardly and watched as the bear ran off. She turned to Rueger and nodded, uttering a shaken thanks for trying to help before turning to Terance "He's alive but barely. We need to get him back to my den, immediately. Thank goodness she...Coelho..took most of whatever attack was given" she tried to keep the trembling from her voice but it was clear that she was badly shaken.
