Stone Circle By The Stars

Korei had gone to the meeting and seen so many faces. So many new wolves to learn the names of, to learn how they are. She sat down then, sighing. How many times had she turned away from a home, now? How many times had she left it all, to start anew? The first time was of her own choice, the second she just could not leave Alarian's side for she would never feel safe.

Again, Korei sighed at herself. She looked to the sky, imagining all the new constellations she might try to make up here.

Sorry for the wait!

Steph had been roaming around that evening, mostly keeping an eye on the borders, but now she slipped out of the forest, and then paused. The white female stood out among the black night, so she was easy to spot. Steph, with her black pelt, blended in among the backdrop of the trees. She had seen the female at the meeting, but had yet to meet her. Now was a good a time as any, she supposed. 

She chuffed to let the female know she was there before trotting up to her. Hey, I'm Steph, she introduced herself. She didn't make herself comfortable just yet, in case she didn't want company. Still, her tail waved in friendliness.

Korei's tail swept side to side behind her. Still looking up to the sky, and then she paused her stargazing when she heard something. Her tail curled her hind legs, and she glanced over at them. "Oh...hello, I'm Korei" she introduced back, putting on her cheery look, her tail starting to wag now seeing their friendly demeanor.

Korei, as she introduced herself, seemed pretty friendly, so Steph closed the gap between them and sat down next to the other female. Steph had noticed her gaze had been upward, and so she set her own sights on the sky. What were you looking at? she asked, curious. She saw a bunch of stars, but not much else.

Korei looked back up to the stars as she was asked the question. "Stars...the sky...it's beautiful, isn't it?" In her eyes the night sky was the most beautiful she had ever laid eyes on. And it always kept her company at night.

Steph's gaze followed Korei's, and she took in all the twinkling lights that were above them. She hadn't given them much thought in her life, but she supposed she agreed. Yes, they are, she replied. 

How are you liking it here so far? she asked, interested in how the other female was settling in since her joining. It had been almost a month now, Steph calculated.

Korei Julia nodded in agreement. She loved the stars, other many things. "They are....so very beautiful" she murmured quietly. She turned to face Steph at the question, then. Was she liking it here?

"Yes I...well I feel comfortable..." Though still she felt nervous. They were still all new to her.
