Blacktail Deer Plateau one part longing, one part need, the rest withstanding

She does not speak again before she marks, and his eyes follow hers as she squats.  For a beat he must wonder if she is about to challenge him to a pissing contest, but she does not and instead admits that he has done no wrong.
