Gilded Bay up on the sun, lookin' sad and beautiful

the man is as pleasant as he's come to expect from strangers here. he smiles, still staring out at the waves, and nods slowly. yeah, is all he can offer for a few beats. then he glances to the other wolf, eyes sparkling. i don't think i'll ever leave the coast again. it's not entirely true; he knows he will wander, as he's found he likes to do. but he thinks he'd like to make a more permanent home here, somewhere — maybe he can.
