Amsu watched with curiosity, and then with a smile as the woman answered his call. She stared at him for a time after her initial greeting and he tilted his head, but otherwise did not react to her staring. He just continued smiling at her, his tail continuing a gentle wag. Being stared at was strange, but she did not seem hostile, so he didn’t really mind. Eventually she seemed to come back to herself and stood up, though now she was smiling openly at him. Honestly, Amsu was flattered that his mere presence seemed to have such a strongly positive affect on someone. He blinked rapidly a few times in humble embarrassment.
