her brow furrowed, tail flicking as the accusation flung -- and not a false one, at that. aria knew. 

"i don't want to cause any more problems in your family," aria said, voice firm, void of hurt but her gaze betrayed her, "durnehvirr has returned. your children think i'm a monster. i'm avoiding you because i'm tired of causing you more pain." it was true, and even if he denied it aria knew it was. she caused problem after problem for constantine and his family... and all she wanted was for him to be happy. 

"if i didn't think it'd hurt you more, i would've left the pack altogether by now." honest, but brutal. aria regretted saying it, but she was glad she did.
