little happens in diaspora without thorn's notice; the troupe that made its way towards their borders was impossible to miss, given they moved along not so different from a band of travelers. from their condition, thorn did not believe them to be loners - a suspicion augmented into fact when he caught the lingering scent of the coast that still clung to their pelts.
mahler and stigmata would be here soon. thorn quietly made his presence known by flanking them, standing as stern vigil until more diasporans arrived.
