All Welcome
AW! But hoping for him to meet the other pups @Warlock @Thief @Jet

He wasn't so good at catching things for himself, but had found a dead fish by the creek earlier, and after deciding that it didn't smell too bad, Pheiros snatched it up and brought it to a sunny clearing. Currently, he was prancing around with his prize clasped between his jaws, tail wagging behind him as he searched for a place to eat.

He found a patch of pretty flowers and after circling a few times, settled down right in the middle. Holding his meal between his front paws, he began to pick off the skin, tail still wagging while he busied himself.

While Pheiros frolicked with his old fish, Artyom trailed through the wood with a fresh one firm between his jaws. He paused to lift his head and quietly observe the golden youth as he settled among the wildflowers to begin consuming his prize. The warm hue of his pelt meant this babe did not belong to the Alpha pair, surely?

Artyom looked around for any sign of a parent, but there was no one around. Without very little knowledge of pups, he wasnt sure if it was safe to leave one of this size on his own.

He moved in closer, emitting a muffled woof as not to surprise the feasting cub, and lowered his catch to his paws. "Hey," he said with a smile and a friendly sweep of his plush tail, "mind if I join you?"

The recently-rechristened-Brou was arrowing her way along some of the various pathways of the packlands, changing direction almost at random as she strode busily forth with her tail held high. She didn't really care where she ended up; she was just enjoying the sights of late summer and the smorgasboard of scents the warm air was offering up. When a particularly pungent odor caught her nose, however, she immediately turned and surged in that direction with even more eagerness. She didn't really recognize the scent of the wolf that accompanied it, nor his companion who joined him a moment later, but their individual identities were almost smothered entirely by the far-more-interesting taste of finny things beckoning to her on the wafting air.

It took her a little while to get there, but Brouhaha's legs were growing stronger and steadier by leaps and bounds with all the exploring she'd been engaging in, and she arrived at speed without letting anything deter her along the way. Hey! she near-shouted in greeting with cheery, eager excitement. She did possess just enough of an inkling of politeness to slow her steps as she approached the younger wolf, cocking her ears and tilting her head as she angled her nose investigatively downward toward the largish, slighty-ripe fish the little wolf with the sunny fur had clasped awkwardly between his front paws. Does it taste better when it's naked? asked Brou in fascination as she watched the youngster ripping its multiscaled shiny skin off. The stuff glittered so beautifully in the sun, the miniature rainbows it threw off almost hypnotically pretty. Brou had to admit she was a little jealous; wouldn't it be glorious to wear something like that?

Her eyes belatedly tore themselves away to trail over the adult in the room with less interest, up until she spotted the not-quite-so-smelly catch that was being dropped between his front paws, looking somewhat less impressive in comparison to the big wolf than the fishies did when sized against a smaller pup. Ooh, you brought me one, too! squealed Brou eagerly, lunging forward to snatch with clumsy enthusiasm at the thing with her own small, sharp white teeth. She had at least a vague inkling that this was perhaps not exactly the fate this stranger had intended for his prize, but Brou was also quite used to seeing other grownups bringing her mother all these gifts of Arbiter-appeasing tribute kind offerings of food while the alpha was preoccupied trying to raise her wild brood, so it wasn't as presumptuous a move as it might on the surface seem. Not quite, anyway.

The arrival of a stranger had him glancing up from his meal. Tail wagging faster, he shook his head. No, I like friends, he answered, spitting more skin on the ground. He briefly sniffed in the direction of the man's fish but  decided his was more enticing. Although, of he had wanted to trade, Pheiros wouldn't have minded too much, especially if it meant he had a new friend to eat with.

As the the other puppy approached, her shouted greeting pulling his attention from his prize, and murky green eyes watched her as she neared, his own tail beating against the ground. He nodded at her question. Yeah, I think so, he replied, returning to his meal. Do you eat fish with the skin on? he asked, mouth full of food. He had tried that at first but quickly decided that he didn't like the slimy skin very much; the soft meat underneath was what tasted the best.

He felt some secondhand embarrassment when he realized the dark girl assumed his new friend's fish was for her, and he watched curiously to see how the man would react. Pheiros thought it would be a pretty easy mistake to make at her age, and he hoped his new friend wouldn't be too mad at her. Plus, he would share his fish with either of them if needed.
