looking for verradril wolves!

When Rafael was left to fend for himself in this miserable world, he knew the job wouldn't be easy. That fact rang true every waking second of the day. A nomad always had to bounce around from place to place, devising plans on how to catch a next meal, always outrunning unsavorable folk. It's a hard life but it was one he was born into. Even as the earth crumbled and the food dwindled he still chose this lonely life.

Onwards he roamed, past destroyed fields and destroyed mountains. Each day the hunger would become more and more persistant. By the time he came across the lake he was damn near starving.

Despite the obvious presence of a group, Rafael snuck on through. Maybe they had a cache or two lying around here. He could snatch up something and be gone before they even knew what happened. Food makes you do stupid things. Well, let's face it; he'd probably do this full stomach or not. He craved the danger.

Survival of the fittest, it is how Minrathous operated. Not even their captives were given a free meal, it all must be worked for and if you were not strong enough, it would be taken away by someone who was.

Their lifestyle continues to mirror this. Nirali, swift and stealthy, steals from the nearby pack. It would not be long before they caught onto the group; a dangerous game of chest. That is why the dragon lurks, hidden in the depths of their encampment and waiting for the trap to spring. He would defend what is theirs until his dying breath.

He sees the slinking form, starved just as he and the majority of the Wilds residents. Aldric rises to his full height, long, fluffy tail flags high. The ex-prince charges, a mock, for now, in hopes of chasing the would-be thief away from their cache.

Reckless he was but oblivious? Hell no. This wasn't his first rodeo. One of the lake's inhabitants could intercept him at any moment and he wasn't about to get ambushed. He stayed low, made his steps as silent as he could. Every few seconds he would pick his head up and scan the area for any signs of wolves or prey. As his eyes glance over the surroundings, he catches sight of crimson hairs.

Oh shit. It had to be one of the locals and he was coming straight for him. Well mission failed. Rafael wasted no time sprinting in the opposite direction. He needed to get out of here before any reinforcements came.
