All Welcome
any (if not all) courtfall members welcome !
summary: agana explores the vale. (an opportunity for other cf members to meet her !)
time: 31th of october, set after cf's arrival.

Agana made her first steps into the Vale with a slight smile on her lips, a warm feeling beating in her chest. This Vale was better than the twisted trees of the Weald, though she felt safe and protected there, due to the forest’s inability to be passed by strangers. Still, this Vale offered the same privileges, if not more.

With the idea of exploring in her mind, the sand female left the pearl with the promise to return sometime later. And she ran, and ran, and ran, eyes widened, shifting from one place to another. The weather wasn’t that warm anymore, so she needed to move in order to not feel the cold.

Eventually, she succumbed to it, slowed down, and padded along the trees, heavy breathing. If this was the final place they would settle, then she would remain here for a long time from now on. (it’s not like she way leaving anyway.)

Timid footsteps fell silently among the grove's evergreens, curious in their advancement yet cautious of what remained undiscovered. After all the court had just arrived within the vale's embrace and the merle yearling couldn't help but assume that if they'd taken up sanctuary here, surely others did as well.

Who or what rest hidden in shadows remained to be see, for now though, he stuck to investigating what lied before him which, coincidentally enough, happened to be the earthly hued stranger just a few paces ahead.

Perhaps the more appropriate title for her was acquaintance, for there was familiarity between them from having traveled together, but little more than that. So Dagwood, ever the easygoing man he was, sought to make a formal introduction of himself and set to closing the distance between them.

A sigh cut by the sudden presence of another. Her ear twitched, golden gaze turning around until it settled upon a familiar monochrome image. A relief, as the male closed the distance to her. Agana nodded, studying the grey male, a quick glance to his ice gaze. A young boy, he was. Much younger than her, perhaps similar in age with her pearl; but she did not mind it.

“Good day,” she greeted, as her body settled down on the ground, tail moving to her right. The sand female was quite relaxed after the long journey, which was unusual to her. Golden gaze glanced to her side, a deep breath filling her lungs. “Such a beautiful vale, isn’t it?” She remembered vaguely of the Weald, of the trees she called ‘home’ not so long ago.

“Ah, where are my manners. I apologize,” a pause, “I am Agana,” she recited her name, and glanced into his ice gaze once more, waiting.

Feathered tail found it's way into a metrical beat, swaying lightly at sable heels as he mirrored the woman's resting position.

The vale was indeed a sight to behold. The trees. The streamlets. The meadows. A work of art carved within the corner of the earth. "Truly, it is breathtaking" he agreed, mint gaze taking in the awe-inspiring environment as he wondered what nameless god had crafted such an oasis.

Pulled from his thoughts at the woman's words, Dagwood let the corner of his lips tug upward. "Dagwood" he introduced, a warm smile embracing his features as he turned to meet that bumblebee stare of hers.

apologies for short response.

An ache in her right leg, brushing it lightly on the ground; the grass was gone, leaving an empty earth, warmed occasionally by the dark paws of wolves. “The Weald could never match in beauty,” and it was true; those trees where mysterious and the fog offered an eerie feeling, but the vale was simply something else.

“Nice to meet you Dagwood,” the woman returned his smile. It felt good to meet another who shared her views of the world. But she was curious, “How long have you been with the Court?” she had never met him before, nor heard of him. So there she was, questioning.
