Gracious was the perfect company for an old woman like Star; they both understood both the loneliness and good humor that came with old age. She'd take her word on Mahler being good company, she'd have to seek him out sometime. Star nodded with a slight frown when her companion mentioned the other old members of Courtfall who'd seemingly vanished into the wind. She was right about the merge going smoothly, though- and the matron offered a chuckle of her own at Gracious' word about their fleeting youth. Indeed. At this point I don't know that I'll ever be a mother... but I think I can accept that. Hunting and border patrols kept her busy, and she had no idea what future lied ahead. The two went on talking for a while longer until Star eventually dismissed herself politely to go hunting.
