All Welcome
The barest light danced among the oak leaves overhead. Silver, she might have guessed, as all things moon-touched tended to be. Her attention was earth-bound and so the glimmering went unseen. With her head bent over a clutch purple buds, her shoulders a mountain, she was set on gathering. The buds were soft, shaped like tear drops, and she tried to pull them from their mooring with soft tugs of her teeth, but this destroyed the lot.

It was frustrating work. Soon she would tire of it and seek out some other patch in the dark.

The foothills had become her home — a recent change, but not a terrible one. The daylight warmed the soil in to mud, and without anyone to witness her, Siofra enjoyed the filth of it. She thought of how her brothers and sisters would laugh to see her now: her luxurious coat left to tangle, limbs caked with brackish mud, so invested in the studies she had been too petulant to mind back in the Court.

The girl huffs indignantly, and in one motion crushes the plant underfoot and turns from it, raising from her stoop. She looks to the sky, but around her the trees shroud any sight of her beloved stars.

Occasionally his thick head still pounds and the migraines still plague him. He doesn’t know what’s wrong with him but he assumes it’s due to the scar that shifts onto his right eye, for it wasn’t there until he awoke in the new land he finds himself in now.

The soothing blue-white light of moon leaves sporadic shadows on the forest floor. His head is level with his body and a light sneer twists his facial expression due to the migraines that crawl through his head. Heavy paws carry him onwards through the night trying to find out exactly where he might be. Then he stops abruptly in his tracks when he spots another animal just a few paces ahead of him.

Upon further examination, he makes out the features of another wolf. One of colors that seem to appear agouti but are drowned out and distorted by the moonlight. He views the stranger from the side and they turn around after stomping their little paw onto a cluster of flowers. The stranger seems healthy and well fed, he can’t help a fun smirk come to his maw at the scene.

On another note he’s doesn’t know how they haven’t seen his hulking white form yet. He takes a light sniff and the wind washes her scent onto him, the smell is distinctly female. This time he lets out a low chortle. “Now what’s that flower ever done to you?” He asks smoothly, coming out from behind the shadows.
