For @Tzila!

He found himself at the ocean side once more, staring intently into the crashing waves. It was low tide, revealing an expanse of barren, wet sand along the shoreline but it seemed luck hadn't favored him today. No treats were awaiting him with the ocean's retreat for the day, which meant Ruvik had to wade out into the water and catch his own meal.

He shivered against the frigid waters as he made his way in up to his chest, before focusing intently at the space before him, waiting for a moment of calm. He could not see any fish so far, but if he just stayed still and waited for the right moment...
Ruvik is a limited consent character, which means you don't need my consent to inflict damage (anything goes — except outright killing him)!

Hungry and eager to find something to eat, the lone figure of Tzila prowled along the shores of Yuèlóng. Her appetite was growing by the day and by now, she knew it was no longer just herself she was dining for. In time she would be confined to the limits of this island altogether, making her favored excursions back to the mainland a thing of the past. She'd have to start getting used to setting her sights on more aquatic prey.

A set of paw prints belonging to a pack mate garnered her attention. Silver gaze following them, she soon spotted the distant form of Ruvik wading out into the waves. Squinting, she only distantly remembered him from the time she and the female Tyche had inadvertently gotten a little too close to his den. Other than that, she recalled very little about the man. Seeing that he was intent on trying to make a catch, Tzila opted not to call out to him. Rather, she waded into the water until it reached her elbows, letting the shadow her body cast announce her presence for her.
