in the end, zoug did not wish to enter the land of the way.

he held back. those who would go on were not stopped by the mog-ur.

two raised their voices to step with him from the lands of their birth.

for five days zoug fasted and then he called to them in low voice.

blood ochre, scraped from earth and mixed with sacred water.

mother's blood.

earth's birthing shine.

for their foreheads. for his own.

when we go from this place, we carry with us tribe and we carry clan.

we will keep their secrets.

we will guard our ways.

the desert spirits smile. we give them thanks. we ask that they allow us between the sands, that they see our mark.

and when it is faded, so we are new.

dawn bright; it was with only once glance back that zoug traveled from the naaghai and into a new promise.

The teekon wilds had taken more than given. And Andanari felt shorted and anxious. She would come back someday when she wasn't so afraid of attacks. When she knew herself and her two halves better. She would arrive then.

She followed Zoug and Gaara into thr unknown, kisses to her mother and sister.

Gaara and Andi had once spoke of exploring, where Gaara had an interest of all which the desert had to offer. Sands of red, sands of gold and pale shale. 

His father paints the crown of their skulls, in red sand and water, a sacrid sourse in their dry world. 

Then, the trio were off to embark on a new journey beyond.
