That evening, the Redhawk Caldera was treated to some festive rain. Grimm retreated into the greenery that fringed the the lake, but didn't settle. Instead, teh dark newcomer put her nose to the needle-strewn ground and began to sniff around for some company; orientation was over - she knew where the main caches were, and where to pee - and was now keen to find out who she had thrown her lot in with.

So far, things were looking promising. The pack's Alpha was a stone cold fox (shame about the ironically named wife), and Somnia had been entirely pleasant. But Grimm was still a little lonely, and desperate for a playmate to fill the gap left by her brothers.

The black-and-white girl paced between the trees, pausing occasionally to stare between the trunks. It was getting dark, and she hoped nightfall would drive the rest of the Calderans home.

Between Fox and Peregrine being all hormonal and sexy and her recent heartbreak over Finn, the Blackthorn was feeling anxious. The anxiety made her restless and restless made her feel all the more miserable. She needed an outlet for her pent-up emotions, but with the alphas indisposed, it fell on her and Elwood to pick up the slack. So, outridering was out of the question, which was her usual outlet. And now didn't seem to be the best time to find a dangerous predator to attack what with her wound still kinda sorta bugging her a little. So, that left... Bah, she didn't even know what that left except apparently trudging sullenly through the Caldera.

It was during this moody stalking that she came across an apparent newbie. Fin spied her through a gap in the trees and watched her for a moment. Now wasn't a great time for her to inflict her negative self upon a newcomer, but at the same time... she was just so bored and fretful. With little concept of what it was exactly she had planned, Fin cantered steadily up to the dark female, her posture slightly dominant as was her station, but overall neutral.

"Hey!" she barked as she came within range, "You! We should murder things. You wanna?" Totally a normal thing to invite a perfect stranger to do. Finley stared expectantly at the woman, her legs already itching to get moving again even though she had no idea where she was going to take the girl, nor what she'd do with her.

The storm pelted wolfess had been gnawing contently on a rabbit when the ebony shadow approached. Tempest heard the satisfactory crunch of bones from the bloody, gruesome, but sooo delicious corpse. She did not want to leave her meal quite yet, and was content to watch and continue her gnawing of the rabbits head, which tasted a little stringy. She gazed at the wolfess as she finished the rabbit, then set about burying the remains.

"You! We should murder things. You wanna?"

Tempest looked at as Fin approached the ebony wolfess. She had been quite crabby as of late, and Tempest had avoided her. However, she seemed in a different mood now, so Tempest shook the dirt from her pelt and lopped toward them, eyes sparkling with excitment.

"Can I murder things with you? " she barked at the two. She felt like commiting hommicide today, which was best done with others. Her poture was slightly submissive, as they were two high ranking females, but excitment was still evident in it.

Grimm asked, and the Caldera delivered. Within minutes, a tense-looking female was charging towards her with a delightfully straightforward request. Grimm wasted no time in accepting, positively giddy with excitement at the prospect of a nighttime hunt: "Hells yes, stranger. I could kiss you for asking." The words had barely left her mouth before a second, equally antsy female popped out of the woods. Grimm's tail lashed against her bi-coloured hind legs - with three wolves, they could take down something really exciting. "Where to, lady-friends?"

Sooo I'm completely blanking on ideas as to where Fin is taking them xx; ANY IDEAS? Feel free to direct the group in your post if you have a good one :D

The words had only just left her lips when an unexpected voice chimed in with a request to join in the planned homicide. Fin turned to look at the other female. She vaguely recognized her as the female from their pack feast who had been standing uncomfortably close to her Elwood. Her submissive posturing was enough to satisfy the beast inside of the beta that reared up in protest of allowing the relationship-usurper to join in the fun. After all, Elwood really wasn't hers, nor did she have any want for him to be. Fin had no desire whatsoever to be tied down by love or hearts or feels or whatever. So. THERE.

Fin gave the one known as Tempest a pleased little smirk before her gaze returned to the dark wolfess, her words causing the smirk to broaden into a full-fledged grin. "Follow me!" she barked with the command of a beta upon her throat. With that, she turned and sprinted off to... a destination... where.. murder... oh crap....

.........yeah, she hadn't really thought this through, had she...
