Appearance
[Image: KBWEdxY.jpg]

Aniu is average height, with a slender chest and long legs. She has a coat that could best be described as a brownish agouti. Her underbelly is a pale fawn and she has a saddle of grey and brown. A few stray black hairs coat her fur, mostly around her face.

Aniu has extensive scarring around the right side of her face, with the inclusion of a blind eye and half an ear. As a result she is blind and deaf on the right side and will often turn to the left to speak to people or look at them.
Personality
[Image: IpfkOfs.jpg]

Aniu is quiet. It's hard to get her to open up or speak beyond average formalities. She dislikes touch, save for those she trusts and cares for, and may shy away from it naturally.

Despite her closed off nature, Aniu is loyal and kind to those who can see past her cold exterior. She has a soft spot for pups and young wolves, others who strike a maternal chord in her.

Aniu has issues with anger, she is slow to provoke if it involves herself but the minute someone threatens or harms those she cares about, it's war. Aniu experiences black outs when she is extremely angry or scared and may not remember what she does after them.
Biography
[Image: HOfBKgN.jpg]

Aniu is the product of a one night stand, her parents were strangers and after sleeping together they separated easily. Aniu's mother, Aleu, didn't have a maternal bone in her body. Aniu was the only pup to survive her mother's first litter, and after Aniu was weaned Aleu dissapeared never to return.

Aniu was raised by her grandmother, Saba, an elder of eight years. Saba named Aniu, the Inuit word for snow. She raised Aniu to follow their ways and taught her how to survive. Aniu was devastated by her Nan's death and wandered aimlessly as a yearling.

Though Aniu had no destination in mind, she soon came across a group of wolves that she joined easily. Aniu came to find that the leader was a tyrant whom expected things to be traded for his 'protection.' Aniu never gave him anything, due to the fact that she slept in her own den and hunted for the pack. Amongst the pack members she met Layla, a young girl not yet a year old. Layla lived with abusive parents and was being traded for protection.

Once Aniu found this out she snapped in one of her famous moods. She confronted the parents, attacking the mother and being dragged away by Layla's father. Once it became clear that they were not to come near Layla again, Aniu went in search of the child and found her being attacked by the leader, Sumac. Aniu faced off with him, being blinded and having half her ear torn off in the process. Aniu killed Sumac and fled with Layla at her side.

Overtime Aniu became a mother figure to the young girl, passing on the same knowledge Saba had taught her. It was only just after Layla's first birthday that the young wolf wandered away in the early morning and was attacked by a lynx. Aniu fought with the lynx, whom damaged her ear and would later cause her to go deaf. The lynx fled, having decided Layla wasn't worth the effort. Layla succumbed to her wounds, bleeding out only minutes after.

Aniu was heartbroken, having lost her adopted daughter, and once more wandered. She has found herself in Teekon Wilds after wandering, beginning to get over Layla's death.
