A male of large size, Hughes seems to tower above his siblings - thanks to his different father. His form is sturdy but he never seems to use it for fighting. One might guess otherwise due to a collection of scars that rake across his left hindquarter and a few even seem present near his groin.
A deep black coat was also inherited from his unknown sire while a small strip of grey on his nose - likely stemming from his mother - breaks through. Bright yellow eyes are settled deep into a rather serious looking face.
If he's seen as handsome, he doesn't give himself credit for it.

Personality
Hughes is Vaughan's right-hand man. He's entirely devoted to his brother and doesn't see him as flawed in any way. Although he's often the buffer between the siblings, Hughes feels a great weight upon his shoulders and sometimes turns to medicinal aids to cope, often in secret.
