Alutina was birthed into a pack that saw her and her siblings birth as taboo due to them being born at the worst time. The pack camp was in the middle of a raging storm that made the river dams collapse as more water surged in. Before the large wave crashed through the pack camp, many evacuated. Alutina and some of her siblings barely survived as the wave crashed into the dens, washing everything away. Her mother wept for days for the lost of her remaining cubs and kept Alutina and her remaining siblings as close as she could. It wasn't until they got older when her and her sisters learned they were taboo and was the blame for the flood.
