Selma was born in Norway within a small pack. When she came of age she dispersed and found her own home nearby, however the group was the focus of a human study and after garnering the attention of humans, things went sideways. She was abducted along with a few others. The humans kept her for a number of years, during which she became habituated to them, and then she was sold for research purposes to another study group in North America, where she was released with a tracking collar.
