Exousia pushed westward, the mountains behind calling to her as much as the mountains ahead. She would find her perfect roost and amass her godling creatures beneath her, but one would need to be established before the other; it hardly mattered which, and still she set her sights on finding the territory she wanted to lord over before anything else.
It had to be a mountain, a plateau, a ridge. Something tall, high up, but not overwhelming. Not like this mountain. She looked up into its heights and saw nothing but a vision of thin air and limitations. There was plenty of land to live on beneath the clouds that sought to hide Silvertip’s peak, but being unable to see the top of her claim would not do for Exousia.
She pressed on, traveling northward along the mountain’s belly at a swift pace.
