You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you.
The sand shifted weightlessly beneath bi-coloured paws.
Sun shining overhead, waves drawing in, close to the trail he left behind on the damp sand, then retreating back to their homeland: the ocean. A seagull cawed from the bright, clear sky, and Kraai looked up, squinting against the light. His tail flicked.
Continuing onwards as the white-noise of the tide played in the background, his dark figure stood out, a clear dot against the otherwise pale terrain. His paws, though, a shade of dirty-blonde that looked as if the sand had stuck and become intertwined with his pelt. Growing warmer, the boy peered at the ocean.
He was quick to pad forwards, bringing his paws into the water, allowing it to lap at his fur. He walked further in, feeling the water grasp at his arms, his tail. Further in, where he came to a stop, it had raised to graze against his stomach. The lad enjoyed the cool saltiness of the water for a moment. Watching as the currents ebbed and flowed.
Quiet, watchful, and--even if only momentarily--at peace.

Maman had been stern with @Tousaint, and now he was gone. Chaudry was not content to lose his only friend so easily. He knew the boy had come from the coast, and now he came to search. He had tracked criminals, and they had been found with ease - but a gentle approach did not suit him. However, he would need to learn should he find Tousaint.
Approaching the grove he spotted a wolf sat on the shore, to which he was quick to trot towards. It was not who he was looking for, but maybe they had seen the boy.
"Excuse me? I am searching for a friend, I would like to ask you a few questions." His words were nearly confrontational, and for a moment he wondered if he knew how to speak any other way.

The sun was warm. His dark hairs absorbed the light with ease, and, contrasted against the coolness of the water, he felt truly relaxed. Until a voice sounded from behind him, however. One with an accent he couldn't name. One asking for questions. Kraai turned, honeybee eyes blinking. Wide, soft, child-like.
Just a young boy. Eager to impress.
Zeker,he trotted forwards from the water. When he spoke common, his words, similarly to the stranger, were thick with an accent. This one Dutch, however. Not the same as the grey-brown man.
What would you like to know? He'd only been within these lands for a moment, but perhaps he could help nonetheless.
Just a young boy. Eager to impress.

The boy responded eagerly. He was young, optimistic. "He came from the mountains where our pack resides." He began, pausing momentarily. He wished to be clear in his explanation.
"He got into an argument with my maman, now he has left. I believe he may have come this way." He clicked his tongue, taking a moment to look down the beach. "He is well groomed, near your age. Violet eyes and a beige coat."
Should the stranger fail to tell him anything of use, he would continue down the coast. He would search for packs, find out if one may be the home of the boy.

Kraai listened rather attentively. His ears, so perked that they might just fly away from him. Eyes shone. He wanted to be helpful, but unfortunately the description didn't match anything he'd seen on the way here. The boy shook his head.
But, as if sensing how quickly this stranger would move on, Kraai was quick to chirp up once again:
He also didn't want to be alone. Pleading eyes sparkled as he started into similar hues. Please, please, please, please, please! An adventure had been calling him. That was why he'd dispersed in the first place. Maybe this was the start of it..!
I'm sorry,he begun, clear where this conversation was going.
I haven't seen anyone like that.
But, as if sensing how quickly this stranger would move on, Kraai was quick to chirp up once again:
But, maybe I can help you look for him?He didn't want to brag right away, but his ears, tall, were receptive. His dark coat a tool, he thought, that helped him blend in—if he was in the right environment, of course.

An offer was made, and for a short moment Chaudry considered it. But no, he would not take the boy with him. It would only slow him down. But he was young, eager to work. He could understand that need for purpose. Chaudry would give him purpose.
He shook his head. "I travel alone." He grunted. "But if you wish for something to keep you occupied, travel into the mountains. My maman lives in the vale - her name is Viskani." He instructed. "Go to her and tell her that my trip will be longer than expected."
His mother would enjoy having someone so young around - someone she could keep an eye on and care for.
"She will feed and shelter you, the trip will not be in vain."

Now this was something he could work with..! Though the stranger didn't want to bring the boy along with him, he gave him something he could work towards: someone to find. And a message to bring.
His mouth was quick, almost somewhat nervous; excited, majorly! This was his quest. The excitement that he had been searching for! He was practically bounding already. It would take a few days, yes, but, as the stranger said, 'the trip will not be in vain'.
Okay,he nodded. He looked around the environment for a moment, looking to the mountains in the distance.
The eastern range?Kraai's questions were quick. He didn't want to take up anymore of this lad's time. Oh, also!:
And, uh, what's your name? So I can tell Viskani about your trip.

The boy spoke quickly, and Chaudry felt a momentary twinge of annoyance. He had never been good with the young one's. "Yes, east."
"My name is Chaudry de Cigue." He responded. "Treat my maman with respect, hm? She is old but not weak." A gentle warning; disrespect would not be tolerated.
Staring a moment longer, he then turned away to continue down the sandy beach.

Okay! I won't!He watched the silver figure move away, continuing down the coast.
Goodbye, Chaudry! I'll tell your maman that you said 'Hi'!And now, he, too, started moving. East. Towards Viskani. Oh, he was so, so excited!!
