Maybe @Arktos or any of the members from Yellowstone? :)
It was the sight of a wolf amongst the bison that Arsène notices as he glides over the grassy plains. It is a much smaller form than the larger bodies of the herd crowding together as they graze, easy to miss from a cursory glance. The crow had originally targeted the bovine herd to see if he could pick out any bugs from their thick shaggy hides, though wolves often brought down the great beasts to feed their numbers, and that would provide a far heartier meal for a crow.
However, the wolf appeared to be alone for the moment, and unless filled with a dangerous level of courage, Arsène didn't believe it was out hunting the bison alone. Nevertheless, he was curious, and so swooped low enough to be in earshot, letting out a loud caw as he began to circle.
