Marking the borders/investigating the territory! Anyone is welcome to stop by :)
One mission had been completed but in its place came another. There hadn’t been much time for relief or relaxation; just as soon as she’d found the stranger, he’d jumped to give her the next part of her assignment. Dulce wondered if she really needed to go through with it but ultimately decided that she’d given her word, and no matter how much she dreaded it, that was something that needed to be kept.
Eventually, she’d found her way back to the territory. Dulce didn’t want to give the impression that she was abandoning her new pack, so it made sense to head back home and campout before searching for Pixie. She’d stopped and let @Evergreen know that she was there, should she be needed, before making her first set of rounds on the border.

@Evergreen has been, understandably, rather busy with the pending formation of his pack, and while Winterbourne doesn't exactly mind, he's felt... a little lost. His friend's regular check-ins keep him from feeling terribly lonely, but this whole fresh start thing is a little rougher than he'd imagined. It always is, yet he never feels any less surprised. Sometimes he thinks he lets himself dwell too much on his lost home, preventing his own progress; other times, he blames the world for being so unfair in the first place.
It's a lot of thinking for a boy who has spent most of his life thus far focused solely on running and surviving, so it takes up most of his attention when he does manage it. It does, however, leave just enough brainpower left to do something mindless — like marking borders. This has become his routine since joining Kaistleoki: walk, think, pee. It's easier than trying to deal with whoever else has decided to follow Evergreen — or, it would be, if he paid any attention to where he was going. He scents the other wolf before he spots her, recognizing the familiarity and stifling a groan as he realizes he's run into a packmate. Maybe she'll be cool, he tries to reassure himself, deciding to bite the bullet and approach her first.

Hello,He calls carefully, doing his best to sound... coherent. Hopefully it works.
Winterbourne's voice is low and raspy due to a throat injury during his childhood, and it can sometimes be difficult to understand him.

The admittedly off-putting sound of a stranger's voice startled Dulce from her chance. She turned, hackles prickling just long enough for her to get a whiff of his familiar scent. He's family, she reassured herself, then settling back down and giving him an apologetic grin.
Hello, she replied, stopping to wait and see if he'd join her.
I don't know you yet. That was a given, knowing how many wolves were now within their ranks. Dulce thought that it was funny how she'd been one of the firsts and to join yet she also seemed to be the most out of the loop.
I'm patrolling, claro que. You can join, if you want.
