The smell of another male caught her attention as she munched on some fox. Her ears perked in interest, another member? He didn't smell quite like Rosings territory yet while her scent had come to blend with her surroundings. He still smelled somewhat like the wilderness, but she could faintly smell Aaron on him letting her know he wasn't an intruder.
She scooped up the remainder of the portion she had been eating, she had quite a bit of fox left in her cache. With it dangling limply from her jaws she trotted off in the direction of the male. She followed his scent, coming upon him before long. He was slightly larger than herself and dark of fur with vivid blue eyes. She didn't bother with submission knowing that if he had recently joined she was above him in rank.
She approached confidently but not aggressively, the confidence of course was feigned. She was a ball of nerves. She always was when interacting with new people. She moved over to him before setting the chunk of fox down. She wagged her tail as she smiled brightly. "Hello,"she greeted him.
"i'll keep you here when I lose my mind."

Saries had not expected to meet one of his new pack mates so soon, bit was fairly glad to. The wolf who approached him was a white female with pretty brown eyes and a warm smile. She said hello it seemed it was going to be his first interaction with another one of his new pack mates. Now he just had to try and act normal since he hadn't really gotten used to Engaging in conversation with anyone other than his brother.
"oh, um he-hello." he stuttered. Nice one Saries make yourself look an idiot in front the first pack member you meet, that will surely to the trick in fitting in he thought himself. He had never stuttered or talked like that with his brother. Why was it so hard to socialize with others he thought. He had never really talked to his past pack members unless he really needed something or it was the alphas. Guess he just needed practice. He just hoped he hadn't completely made himself look like an idiot in front of her.

Her grin grew a bit at his response, at least she wasn't the only one nervous. She wasn't sure what to say now that she had greeted him. "I am Liri,"she cringed at the thick accent in her words. It always came out at certain times, particular words made it flare up. She ignored it hoping he wouldn't notice. She leaned over, nudging the fox towards him,"You can have some if you're hungry."
She shuffled on her paws nervously, studying him over. He was a handsome one, contrasting quite a bit with her snowy fur. She had never seen such blue eyes, she was a bit jealous seeing as her were just plain brown. She had been told she was pretty before but she didn't think so, either way she wouldn't have minded mating with this one. That was unless he had a nasty temperament. She had enough of aggressive males to last her a life time. She would have to see with him.

So sorry for the short post. My creativity has died today.
It seemed by her expression that he didn't make a complete fool of himself, which allowed him to relax a little. She soon revealed her name to him, Liri , which he thought was a pretty name. She then also offered him some of her prey which he thought as very generous. He had to thank her for such a meal.
"My name is Saries, and thank you very much for the prey." He said managing not to stutter. This was going much better now. The fox tasted pretty good and Saries was glad that Liri had shared her meal.

that's fine
"It's nice to meet you,"she told him sincerely. Saries, the most fascinating name she had heard amongst the pack except maybe for Faramir's. Most of the wolves here seemed to have strange names, then again maybe her's wasn't normal to them either.
She nodded when he thanked her, shrugging nonchalantly. The fox meat wasn't a big deal, they were everywhere it seemed. She had been hunting with Aaron to help stem the problem but it seemed that's what they would be eating for awhile now. Might as well get used to the taste now she supposed.

They taste of the fox was something new to Saries. He thought it was good but it was still a bit strange. Saries decided to take his mind off the thought of food and to more important matters. It would be best to get to know his fellow pack members and possible mate in the near future. He was still new to that idea of being paired together with someone not of his choosing and wondered how it would work to suddenly have someone paired up with him out of the blue. Nonetheless he still thought the idea of pairing was nice. He then got a bit of boost of confidence and decided to continue their conversation and get to know Liri.
"So how long have been apart of Rosings?" he said said with interest as he wanted to get to know Liri since she seemed to be a very nice girl. He had never really gotten to know many of his old pack members and wanted to make up for his past of anti-socialness. He was glad she had approached him since he probably would have have been to shy to even say hi. I mean look how he acted when she first came up to him. He was glad to be able to have a normal conversation even if it was a small thing. It was always the small things that mattered as he had once heard his mother say.

Liri smiled as she remembered being accepted by Aaron. "A few days ago,"she replied. She sat down, getting comfortable so she could get to know him. "You joined recently I assume?" She hadn't smelt him around the territory so it was a fair assumption.

short posts are fine by me. No problem.
Liri also seemed fairly new, in which relieved Saries to know he wasn't completely alone on being a newbie. Liri assumed he had joined recently which she was correct."Ya, I actually joined earlier today. I'm completely new to the pack." He said. He already liked this place more than most on of his other pack because off the beauty of everything around here. It was quite colorful and lovely. Most places he had stayed were usually plain old forests, a few mountains before and once he stayed in plains hunting bison. This place though seemed to be the most beautiful.
She smiled as she looked around the immediate forest, her pack's territory was lovely. Now that spring was officially here it was beginning to warm up in the afternoons and was even more beautiful in the sunny warmth. "Do you like it here?" She figured the answer would be a resounding yes. How could you not love this place?

It seemed Liri had read his mind in asking if he liked it here."I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't like it here. It's the most beautiful place I've ever seen in my travels." He said whole heartily. For his second spring in his life this was the place he was meant to be. This place was so colorful and full of flowers and the nice mysterious forests. He knew Liri most likely would have liked her home to. Her certainly did.

"Indeed," she agreed with him. It was the most beautiful place she had seen as well. She particularly liked the dark, twisted forests. There was something about them that drew her. Perhaps it was the imperfect things that she appreciated rather than the others.
"How did you find yourself in Rosings?" It was a simple enough question, not one she expected a follow up question for. If he did, she would lie. She was a horrible liar but she could try.

Liri agreed with him on how nice their home was which he was glad. Soon she followed up with the question on what had brought him here. Well there were many reasons he could say. His brother and him were wonderers. His old home was gone. He needed independence. He just thought he would chose his wondering brother as his reason.
"Well my brother and I would travel a lot. We had been to so many different places together but it gotta got hard when my brother would tell me we were staying in one pack, but then leave after a month or so. I guess I just chose to go down our separate paths so I could finally find a place where I could actually stay. He said trying not to sound sad. He was sad though because he missed brother and wondered where he was now. Hopefully somewhere close he thought.
Any who now he wondered what had brought Liri here."So what brought you to Rosings. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to though." he said knowing the feeling of looking back at past when things were hard. He hoped he could get know his new friend better though.

" I ran away," she told him, forcing a nonchalant shrug. She had decided to leave it at that, no reason to tell him as she barely knew him. Samuel had been a special circumstance. He had been through a similar past although never the subject of the abuse just familiar with it.
She changed the subject quickly, not wanting him to question why she had run away. "Do you have any idea what your trade may be?" It was a question she asked all the wolves she met. It was a good icebreaker and she was also curious as to what they were interested in.

It seemed Liri didn't want to go any further in explaining what had brought her here and he could respect that. Next she asked him about which trade he was going for which was something he had a good idea on what he was going for.
"I'm aiming for the medic trade. It's been something I've been working towards since I began to travel around. What about you?" he asked. He had met many wolves who were after many different trades. He wonder which one of the many she had chosen from was it.

She smiled widely at the mention of healing, before Saries she had been the only one interested in healing. Amma was a botanist or aspiring to be one at least but not a medic. Aaron's skills fell more in the lines of sitting as far as she knew. It would be good to have a colleague.
"I too wish to be a healer. I'm also interested in hunting." They were both talents of hers. She was a fast learner and stealthy. She could memorize plants well and also be quiet and quick enough to fell an animal.

Saries was glad to hear Liri was also interested in the same trades. Maybe they could work together to advance in their trades."Maybe we could work together then. I'm pretty ok in both trades but I do need help from time to time." Saries said happily. He liked the thought of working with Liri.

She nodded enthusiastically, already growing comfortable with this member of her pack. "Definetly. I know some plants but I'm more of a midwife though. I'm a sitter as well. But who doesn't like to sit pups?" Puppies had always been extremely cute in her eyes and she enjoyed watching them even at a young age.
Elderly wolves were more ornery but she had watched them as well. They were often cranky and had wounded prides due to the fact that they could no longer support their pack. "Do you have a specialty?"
