I guess that given the nature of this thread, and that now it is open for the whole pack to join this would count as a pack activity. I'm going to assume that you guys weren't too far away from the herd.

Being a tight knit pack, the Dotharan were always close enough when help was needed, and as the attentive Khal he was, Rakharo was the first to get the urgency in Kivi's message. He answered with a howl of his own deep voice telling his pack.mate that help was coming, and took off to aid his fellow warrior.

His paws carried his fast through the rattling grass until he distiinguished Kivi's figure attacking a huge Hlizif. There were a few of those in Rhaesh Dahaan, and if one thing Rakharo knew about them it was that they meant danger, both to any wolf and to a herd of bison. This one wouldn't get close to the latter.

With his own big body, Rakharo charged straight at the Bear's hind legs, snapping warning bite before retreating to take Kivi's flank. It was time to see what the female was made of.
