It was so strange to her, but the pup hadn't even seemed real to her. It was as though the moment she saw it, she'd known that there was nothing really there - just some faint traces of a life that was flickering out. Fin didn't know how to explain it to him, but she saw the pain in his eyes and knew she couldn't say nothing.
