Frostfire Ridge when my blood heats up

For this short and crap post. ;-;

The soft woof, of a lower tone that the females of the pack, stretched through the distance and alerted the serpent king to the presence of Spartacus, though he'd heard the heavy foot falls approach him from behind. Steps ceased, a look cast over his shoulder at the ebony male who had joined his ranks not too long ago. A soft chuff was returned, a greeting as the king turned so that he faced one of his newest subordinates head on. “Spartacus,” The patriarch rumbled the other male's name in acknowledgment. It was an interesting name, not Nahuatl or Norse like either of his names had been. It's origin the king did not know, and though he desired a good-natured spar he also desired to learn something new about his fellow comrade this day, too. “You said that you left a southern pack when I first accepted you,” The best way was to learn about the other male's history and sate the serpent's own curiosity in the process. “Were they in these Teekon Wilds? Have I heard of them?” The king had been in these Wilds for a long time, and though many new packs had cropped up and despite that he had no desire to make friends with, or even let them know of the Ridge's presence, it did not mean that he was not curious. Besides, it would not be a bad thing to learn the going-on's within the Wilds. He might have wanted to believe that it didn't impact him in any manner but he knew that to stay in the dark was nothing short of foolish. 

He didn't expect Spartacus to spill every dirty little secret, either. Merely, just basic information; and so long as this pack he'd left wouldn't come knocking on their doorstep then Tezcacoatl had no issue with inner-Wilds migration to his Ridge.
