She nodded mutely when Peregrine mentioned some supplemental training, yet kept her tongue still. She only moved again when the Alpha male dismissed her. She offered up an apologetic whine, then turned and slunk away with her black tail tucked between her back legs. She vanished back in the direction from which she had come, making a point to move far enough away that their voices faded into nothing behind her.
