Due to the fortune it had given her, Saghani had—for the while—selected the snowcapped mountain of goats as her base. @Tryphon stayed here with her, and for whatever measure of time they separated they always knew to reunite at this place, or else always found one another wherever they roamed. Saghani had felled the beasts by chance and by luck; she doubted, before her, many had been around this place that gave cause for the creatures surprise and shock. No doubt they could have taken her had they been aware, but they had not. And so she was rewarded with not one but two meals; it would last her enough time to explore and decide where she would remain for the duration of winter and perhaps her life.

This place meant nothing to her; she would leave it, when the meat was finished. So it was with an unassuming stride that she herself walked on a jutting ledge that acted as a pathway. Saghani only paused when she caught wind of another presence, one she vaguely recalled but did not recognize (having only had the barest whiff of it). What she knew for certain was that this was not her fellow silent companion.

Her bright yellow eyes scouted for the one she smelled, ears acting like radars while they swiveled atop her proud crown. There was no pretense of dominance in the way she held herself, and yet by looking at her there was no denying her savage pedigree.
