For @Ayishik ! c:

Valr had not meant to venture so far from the coast, finding the always present lull and roar of the sea to be comforting in these foreign southern lands. He'd always been drawn to the sea, though he'd been born in a territory that's left border was entirely sea and this familiarity was something he came to cherish, having taken advantage of it before Vàli had chased him out and he'd taken to living a gypsy life, venturing to and fro unable to return home and unable to temper his wanderlust before it gripped him and tempted him as if it were his mistress to venturing far and wide. It was how he ended up in the Teekon Wilds, and while he was content to satisfy his desires to explore the numerous territories that the Wilds had to offer him there was a purpose to Valr's wandering today. For once in a long time it was not simply aimless.

He had heard tell from a stranger — what little the slain warrior could communicate with him at any rate — that there was a territory with an unusual arrangement of stones. This immediately captured Valr's attention and fueled his curiosity, particularly as a seiðr. It did not take him long to come across the territory (despite the rough translation of the directions given from the Cape), but Valr was intelligent despite his struggle to grasp the common tongue. He understood it ok-ish, and spoke it sort of ok-ish; alas it remained a struggle and for the most part eluded him. He knew he was in the right place when he saw the snow blanketed tops of the large boulders, sure enough in a wide circle; hard to mistake as unique as it was. Instantly, a shiver stole down the strong curvature of his spine.

He felt a thrum of energy here, a presence of one of the Gods though he could not initially tell which one. Encouraged by the enigma presented he ventured closer to them, moving between two until he came to a stand inside the circle. In the midst of the circle he felt the Æsir like the thrum of a heartbeat beneath the hard and frozen earth he stood upon. Their presence was strong here in this place of mystery and Valr could not help the excitement that gleamed in his ethereal eyes of bright silver as he glimpsed about, taking it all in.
