Blackfoot Forest I spend my nights dancing with my own shadow

Her swim was interrupted by the sound of a soft voice, one of the women of the pack. Her soggy ears turned towards the sound followed by her body. She smiled at the woman, Hosannah, whom she had met recently before being mated. "Hello, Hosannah," she greeted as she swam towards the shallows, using the woman's full name as they didn't know each other very well.

She shook her fur out before padding up to the other woman, careful to do so at a distance where she wouldn't soak her companion. She had forgotten for a moment that she was damp and doubly that she was shedding, the reason for her impromptu bath. Her skin was visible through her white fluff, scars showing with it. 

"I hope you are liking it here, I heard you had mated Gotham. He's a bit..reserved but I believe he's a nice man," she assured with a small smile. "How is your tail?"
