Larksong Grotto Shiny things

While instinct dictated that he should lay limp in his mother's grip, that lasted only a few minutes. He was flying! He could see, and smell, and hear, and there was far to much to do. With a sqwuak, his little legs began churning as he sought for the ground, wanting to explore. 

But all this wiggling was hard work, and beside, Seff had noticed a brightly coloured thing zipping through the air. He 'oooh'ed, laying limp once more as his blue eyes tracked the thing. Seff was easily distracted by almost anything at this age, and could hardly remain in any one task for long.
