Larksong Grotto Shiny things

Seff adored the attention of his mother, and as she kissed his ears he made a happy humming noise. He snuggled closer to her for a moment, feeling her chest rumble as she howled into the sky. Seff's eyes gleamed. He could do that! He tilted back his head a let out what, in his mind, was a magnificent and haunting call of the wild, but what in reality was a lighter, softer imitation of his mothers soulful howl. He knew not for what purpose he howled, only that he, Seff, would help his mother in her howling mission.
