Qilaq's schedule is one that I wouldn't mind having lmao

The child that he had returned with was faring better, it seemed, offering to him a positive feeling. He had done well by saving her, his little Qilaq; never could he refer to her as anything other than the name that he had given her, for quickly had the male grown attached. She was his daughter, as he would say if questioned, and that was a fact that would stand no matter how many others partook in her upbringing. At times in which he was able, he'd spend it with her, watching her grow and explore her home. It had been during such a moment when she'd stumbled over his outstretched limbs, falling to the ground in the process. The sound alone had pushed him to jolt upwards, lurching forward, then, in an attempt to work over her small frame. From her forehead to her shoulders, and then down along her back—and everywhere else in between—his nose had trailed, ensuring that she'd not been too badly harmed during her trip down to meet the dirt. When no broken bones or large quantities of blood had been located, he'd felt relieved, a sigh escaping him as he was able to then settle back down onto his stomach.

For a moment, he'd watched her, only to then reach out and pull her closer to him. "Someday, you won't have to worry about tripping over anything," he'd voiced, thinking briefly of her future self, only to toss the mental image aside. It was too soon to be thinking of the future, especially when he wished to live with her in the present. Thus, it was with a shake of his head that he'd changed the topic, wondering all the while just how much she'd be able to understand. "Can you say 'papa'?" he'd questioned. "Or 'atâtak'?" The language of his family had been taught to his son, but never his daughters, and so he saw an opportunity with the girl that was currently before him. They were family, he'd decided, and so surely his efforts would not be unwelcomed. "How about 'atâ'?" Simplify it, he'd told himself, do not force her to speak more than necessary.
