Chusi didn't seem deflated by Ingram's prickly attitude: it was a good thing she didn't hate him yet -- it occured to him she may as well be the only wolf that didn't. As she conceded to his statement he puffed up his chest arrogantly, although when Chusi continued he became visibily confused.
