"pack and all," he repeated to the shadow, green gaze finding hers through a sideways glance.

"wanna see if we can find some dinner?" he then asked, tail curling a bit. the essence of friendly competition showed in his stance, but he was mostly just sort of hungry and the scent of rabbit lingered nearby.
